Summary

The E-4PROSPERITY project is motivated by the fact that it aims to overcome these inequalities of young people who struggle with unemployment and whose opportunities are limited due to their socio-economic status. Young graduates' struggle with unemployment can cause financial difficulties and reduce their living standards. Thus, young people's future anxiety, lack of self-confidence, and motivation are negatively affected. At this point, the project aims to integrate young people into the e-sports sector and provide employment opportunities. It supports not only unemployed but also economically disadvantaged young people to have equal opportunities with everyone else. It will contribute to Europe's policy of increasing the welfare of the younger generation and reducing economic inequalities. With the E-4PROSPERITY project, the rapidly developing e-sports industry adopts to ensure that young people have fair opportunities with inclusion. In addition, the E-4PROSPERITY project, which aims to draw a professional and sustainable roadmap for young people on the way to becoming e-sportsmen, will contribute to economic growth in Europe with the employment of young people.

Description

The "E-4PROSPERITY" project, part of the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to create job opportunities in E-sports for young people from different socio-economic backgrounds. It is led by Gaziantep University in Turkey, with partners from Greece, Italy, and Montenegro.

The main goal of the project is to help young people find jobs in E-sports and provide them with a clear career path. Additionally, the project aims to improve teamwork among international partners and develop an online E-sports training program and screening test.

Activities in the project include a kick-off meeting to start the project, conducting a needs analysis to understand requirements, developing a training curriculum for E-sports players, creating a screening test for E-sports players, and digitalizing the curriculum. The project also involves training selected youths, organizing seminars, and holding an E-sports tournament and fan meeting. By the end of the project, an online training curriculum and screening test will be available to help young people pursue careers in E-sports. This will increase job opportunities for young people and enhance the ability of project partners to collaborate internationally.


Objectives

A significant part of the project involves developing a comprehensive E-sports training curriculum. This curriculum will be used to train participants and prepare them for various roles within the E-sports industry. The project also aims to create a screening test for potential E-sports players to identify and nurture talent effectively. By the end of the project, an online training curriculum and screening test will be available, providing young people with clear career paths and increasing their job opportunities in the E-sports field. The project ultimately strives to develop the skills and capabilities of both the participants and the project partners, ensuring a sustainable impact on the E-sports industry.

UNINETTUNO Role

UNINETTUNO plays a crucial role in the development and delivery of the E-sports curriculum. Drawing on its extensive experience in distance learning and online education, UNINETTUNO is responsible for creating the digital curriculum for E-sports training. This involves leveraging its advanced e-learning web platform to ensure that the training materials are accessible and can be efficiently delivered to participants.

UNINETTUNO's role includes the development of e-learning didactic materials and the establishment of procedures for their production. This ensures that high-quality content is provided to the project's participants. Additionally, UNINETTUNO will oversee the digitalization of the E-sports training curriculum, making it applicable in an online environment. This allows the curriculum to be implemented without the need for an expert or E-sports center nearby, greatly enhancing the project's reach and accessibility.
