Giacomo Di Federico holds an MA in EU Law from the University Paris I - Panthéon - Sorbonne, and a Phd in EC Law from the University of Bologna where he is a researcher of international law and senior lecturer of EU law. Since 2007 he is member of the Scientific Committee of C.I.R.D.E (Interdepartmental Centre for Research on European Communities Law) and Associated Researcher at the National Research Institute on Judicial Systems (CNR-IRSIG) providing expertise in the field of EU law. His main fields of interest are EC administrative law, competition law, healthcare and fundamental rights.
Dr. Di Federico is author of various articles, published in national and international law reviews. He is currently finishing a monographic work on the free circulation of patients in the EU with a particular focus on citizenship and solidarity.
