Objectives"
The project purpose is to design educational paths aimed at the distance vocational training of human resources for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) exploiting the potentials offered by the new computer-based networks and via satellite connections.
The project aims at identifying standards for the design and production of educational materials for Distance Education (ODL).
The contents of the educational products, linked to the target users’ needs, deal with the following subjects:

NETTUNO Role
NETTUNO produced a report on the levels of integration of the various multimedia technologies in educational applications and a report to define the standards for the co-production of integrated multimedia educational materials and it also produced video materials for the project.
As it renard the educational materials production phase NETTUNO realised 10 videolessons in teh following fields:

Evolution of the TCP/IP environment (6 hours);

ATM and IP tran sport on ATM networks (3 hours):

Project Managment Techniques (3 hours).
The
titles of the videolessons and the list of reports
produced by NETTUNO in the project’s frame work.
