Erasmus Mundus Programme

Erasmus Mundus Programme

Erasmus Mundus was a mobility and cooperation program in the field of higher education, funded by the European Commission from 2009 to 2013. Its main objectives were the promotion of European higher education in partner (non-EU) countries, the enhancement and improvement of student career prospects through cooperation with partner countries and fostering the sustainable development of higher education in these countries.

Erasmus Mundus programs have allowed students to give their training a particular “added value“ which is based on the possibility of:

  • Studying in partner countries, living together with students from other countries of the world
  • Building a network of relationships with professors and course colleagues, very useful for the professional future
  • Achieving a high level study qualification on the European and international labor market

Uninettuno has participated in two Erasmus Mundus projects, MEDASTAR and Green IT, helping to organize mobility of students and professors between Europe and the south Mediterranean countries.
