International Awards

A wide range of activities in the field of study and dissemination of sustainable e-learning models allowed UNINETTUNO to achieve a very high level of standards, certified through a series of international awards:

  • IELA 2017 - An Honorable Mention(Academic Division)

    The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO was given an honorable mention at the International E-Learning Award 2017 (Academic Division) for its portal “University for Refugees”, a concrete example of how e-learning can contribute to reduce inequalities and enhance educational attainment at global level.

  • Club of the Rectors of Europe 2015:

    the Rector Maria Amata Garito was nominated as a permanent member of the Club of the Rectors of Europe, located in Oxford;

  • IELA 2014 (Academic Division): 5th December in Dubai UNINETTUNO received the International E-Learning Award 2014 (Academic Division) as Runner-up for the best e-learning portal at the global level. The International E-Learning Award 2014, was conferred by IELA – International E-Learning Association, with headquarters in New York and members from all continents and all sectors (industry, business, government, university). The purpose of IELA is to promote research, knowledge and development in the field of e-learning in schools, universities and places of work. The scientific committee, evaluated the applications for the International E-Learning Award 2014 and chaired by David Guralnick (professor of Columbia University's Teachers College) is the founder of Kaleidoskope Learning. Professor David Guralnick said he had been impressed with the quantity and variety of applications in 2014 and the quality of UNINETTUNO’s e-learning.  For this reason, the jury unanimously wanted to confer the International E-learning Award (Academic Division in the field of e-learning) to UNINETTUNO.

  • Award for the Intercultural Dialogue and Promotion of Cultures of the Mediterranean (2013),

    assigned to the UNINETTUNO World Orchestra by ARCI;

  • Quality Assurance E-Learning

    as a certification of quality in the field of e-learning;

  • ITEMA 2012 (Culture Section)

    for the excellence in the partnership between Italy and Morocco, for the attention given to the young people and for the contribution to the fight against illiteracy in Morocco;

  • HOT BIRD TV AWARD 2010

    (nomination) for the direction of RAI NETTUNO SAT as the best satellite television channel in Europe, Asia and South America in the field of “Culture and education”– EUTELSAT;

  • HOT BIRD TV AWARD 2006

    for the direction of RAI NETTUNO SAT as the best satellite television channel in Europe, Asia and South America in the field of “Culture and education”– EUTELSAT;
