Commission for the Quality on International Programs (QIP)
What is Commission for the QIP?
The Commission for the Quality on International Programs (QIP) is established by International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, as provided in the Guide Lines for International Collaborations, supporting International Affairs Office (IAO), with the aim of promoting and supporting excellence in the University’s curricula and assuring quality processes within it international programmes and partnerships.
Which are the objectives?
The
Commission for the Quality on International Programs (QIP) leads and supports the development, delivery and excellence of the University’s curriculum at a global scale and is responsible for all quality assurance issues. Its policies and processes aims to:

oversee the academic development of Uninettuno’s international programs, and monitor their delivery;

develop new international programs and create networks for cooperation with new international partners;

review and evaluate teaching and learning processes and outcomes, including related supporting services of international cooperations;

arrange regular visits on annual base to UNINETTUNO’s Global Partners for monitoring quality process and procedures;
-
ensure systematic monitoring and review of the academic management of courses, teaching and performance;
-
support individual staff development, performance improvement and opportunities for innovation in teaching;
-
ensure effective and collaborative partnerships among participating faculties as well as clear lines of accountability for program deliver and quality;
-
take into account faculty and student feedback to facilitate enhanced teaching and learning performance in international programs;

provide infrastructure and material to support the development of new international programs;

provide services to enrich and support existing international partnerships;
-
provide advice to the Rector / President of the University on priority areas for evaluation and quality assurance of international academic programs and associated activities, and making recommendations for improvements and / or amendments;
Who are the members?
The Commission for the Quality on International Programs (QIP) is composed of five academics and higher education professionals and it reports directly to the Rector/President of UNINETTUNO University. Accountability for the responsibilities is shared by all the members of the Commission accordingly.

Prof. Marco De Marco
Professor of Business Management at International Telematic University UNINETTUNO

Marco De Marco was a full professor of Organization and Information Systems at Catholic University of Milan for 31 years..
Now, he is full professor at Università Internazionale Telematica UNINETTUNO in Rome where he is also serves as Dean of the Faculty of Economics.
He was elected member of the AIS Council representing region 2 (Europe, Africa, and Middle East). His major research activities have been in systems development, performance evaluation, and organizational change. In 2010, he was awarded the AIS Fellow for his contribution to the discipline.
Prof. Alberto Romolini
Associate Professor of Business Administration at International Telematic University UNINETTUNO

Alberto Romolini is Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics at the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO.
In addition, he is cie Dean of the Faculty of Economis and a member of UNINETTUNO Scientific Committee for some Master’s program in partnership with other international institutions.
Prof. Paolo Agnese
Associate Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries and Corporate Finance at the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO

Paolo Agnese is Associate Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries and Corporate Finance at the UNINETTUNO International Telematic University.
Furthermore, he is the holder of the courses “Banks and Financial Intermediaries” and “Banking and Finance”. He holds a PhD in Banking and Finance from the Sapienza University of Rome.
Prof. Dr. Kyriakos Kouveliotis FRSA

Kyriakos Kouveliotis in the last 20 years he has been a Provost and taught in many Universities and educational institutions globally. He is an expert in developing new curricula and programs syllabi.
He has received a fellowship in the Royal Society of Arts and created in the Hague his own not-for-profit Organisation the “Global Degree Foundation”.
Dr. Nicola Paravati
Head of International Affairs Office of UNINETTUNO

Nicola Paravati Graduated at Università degli Studi di Bologna in 1998 with a final thesys on “Education in the Digital Era”, he is currently Head of International Affairs Office of UNINETTUNO, where he is also the coordinator for global cooperation projects, focused on technology, education and social inclusion.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of OpenupEd (www.openuped.eu), the representative of the ICDE ON MEDSE (Mediterranean and Southern Europe) and delegate for UNINETTUNO at the main global associations of Distance Teaching Universities. Coordinator and speaker in several worldwide conferences and seminars on e-learning and new approaches to the global higher education system.
