The EXAGE Project

The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO participates in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program as Intermediary Organization through the EXAGE Project, running from 2015 to 2017.

The EXAGE project intends to help new entrepreneurs by giving them a support in the initial stages of their business activities. On the other hand, host entrepreneurs, as experienced and established as they might be will find it extremely useful and convenient to belong to such a vast network of entrepreneurship as the one that EXAGE plans to establish. In addition, EXAGE’s focus on Eco-Entrepreneurship and Green Business will allow for entrepreneurs in these sectors to further develop their skills and knowledge on the current trends, technologies, market niches, and business models so as to make their learning period much more profitable and fruitful.
The EXAGE Project is mainly, but not exclusively, aimed at business activities in field of the
green technologies (alternative energies, energy efficiency, re cycling, sustainble development etc.)

The EXAGE Project will see to achieve the following objectives:  

• Entrepreneurs in the sector of the green economy, Energy efficiency included, sustainable development, green commerce and related activities will be able to benefit from a preferential route in the EXAGE project creating a specific network of entrepreneurs in this sector;
• New entrepreneurs will have the opportunity of travelling abroad and directly learn from experienced and established hosting entrepreneurs who will be actively encouraged to involve the new-comers into their running business activities to foster the development of new ideas and models;
• Establishment of wide network of entrepreneurs that will allow the EXAGE Project to collect information on the commonest difficulties and on the challenges the entrepreneurs currently and acquire the managerial skills needed to solve them; 
• Constant development of international collaboration to develop new ideas, concepts and approaches thanks to the meeting of two worlds that are often apart: that of the new entrepreneurs and that of the experienced ones;
• The international setting of the cooperation will help participants to get aware of the fact that we have to look beyond the borders of our own countries, to innovate and develop new products and services at national and European level;
• The network will enhance the access to the market and identify potential partners in other EU countries new businesses and as well as well-established ones;
• The SME in EU remote regions will be encouraged to exchange experiences and enhance their networking with other entrepreneurs of other European countries and regions.
