Description of the Course
The Master in Engineering Management is a first-level master's program entirely in English, providing students with a solid foundation in engineering combined with essential management skills. The modules included in the course reflect a variety of key disciplines necessary to excel in the management of engineering projects and resources.
It provides comprehensive training that combines technical engineering skills with the managerial abilities necessary to successfully lead projects and teams in a business context. Students will gain a strategic perspective and a diverse set of skills that will prepare them to tackle complex challenges in the fields of engineering and business management.
What will you study?
Numerical Methods equip students with the quantitative skills needed to analyze and solve complex problems within the field of engineering.
Organizational Dynamics and Behaviour focus on the internal dynamics of organizations, developing understanding of human relationships and organizational structures.
Economics of Innovation explores how economic decisions influence innovation and engineering management.
Corporate Finance is crucial for understanding how financial decisions impact engineering activities, while Production Planning and Control provide tools for efficiently managing production operations.
Digital Innovation is a key module addressing the new frontiers of digital technology, preparing students to integrate innovative solutions in engineering contexts.
Finally, Project Management is crucial for developing skills in planning, executing, and controlling complex projects.
Entry Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Strong undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
Proof of English
IELTS 6.0 (not less than 5.5 in any component), PTE 50 + score or equivalent.
The English proficiency test can be waived by the following candidates:
- English native speakers
- Applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e. High School Diploma, IB)
- Applicants having completed their undergraduate degree in English in an English speaking country
Course Structure
This is a Master di Primo Livello, following the italian academic regulamentation.
It lasts 18 months for 90 ECTS.
