The aim of the Conference is to understand the role of civil society in the scenario of crisis and social violence in the region.

Hosted by the Mediterranean Foundation, the event brought together 250 delegates from the 42 countries that are part of the Union for the Mediterranean, including political leaders, representatives of associations and local institutions, who have exchanged proposals to coordinate efforts at the international level in order to write a new chapter of the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue.
