Access to quality higher education, strategic alliances between traditional and online universities, academic diplomacy and technological innovation as key factors for development, peace and stability: these are the issues from which the 2016 Edition of the EADTU – European Association of Distance Teaching Universities- Conference will start; it will be opened on October the 19th, at 2:30 pm with a plenary session devoted to the theme: “Networks of Traditional and Online Universities for a Global Citizenship” during which UNINETTUNO’S Tenth Anniversary will be celebrated.
The works will be introduced by the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Stefania Giannini, by the Rector of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, Maria Amata Garito, by the Rector of the Antonianum Pontifical University, Sister Mary Melone; by the President of EADTU, Anja Oskamp, and the by the Chancellor of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, Dubai, Mansoor Al Awar.
