Description du cours
The course is divided in two modules.
The first part offers an overview of the basic analog and digital electronics. The course focuses on semiconductor technology and devices, transistors' circuital model and simulation, digital electronics main devices.
The second part deals with the fundamentals of the modern measurement science and uncertainty theory. Basic principles of the electrical instruments and their correct management. Measurement methods of the main electrical quantities. Modern measurement systems based on programmable instrumentation and PC-based data acquisition.
Connaissances requises
Basic circuit theory.
Objectifs
Provide students with a knowledge of modern semiconductor technology and the ability to analyze analog and digital electronic circuits. Understand the meaning of a measure and it’s uncertainty. Know the main features of analog and digital measurement devices. Acquire knowledge on the programmable instruments.
